How to upgrade your Phase-Guard

Have the unit, a USB A-to-mini-B cable, and an internet-connected computer available before starting.

    Prepare

    Install the Admin Tool and power the unit

    Download and install the Admin Tool, then connect the Phase-Guard to three-phase power and switch it on.

    Connect

    Attach Phase-Guard over USB

    Connect the unit using a USB A-to-mini-B cable and launch the Admin Tool. The connection should be established automatically.

    If it is not detected, refresh the device list or use the connection troubleshooting steps.

    Identify

    Open the Information tab

    Review the unit’s serial number and currently enabled features, then click “Purchase Upgrades.” You can also enter the serial number directly on the store upgrade page from another computer.

    Purchase

    Select compatible features and check out

    The store clearly marks features already enabled on that unit. Select the additional capabilities you need and complete checkout.

    Activate

    Install the new license key

    Copy the license key from the order confirmation or billing email. In the Admin Tool Information tab, choose “Install License Key,” enter the key, and click “Upgrade.”

    Configure

    Adjust settings for the new feature

    Return to the Settings tab and configure any thresholds, delays, or behavior associated with the newly activated capability.
